Iranzo transforms discarded materials into a contemplative reflection on existence and memory, giving form to absence.
Working with a single piece of discarded net, sourced from sports and construction contexts, Iranzo draws the volume of the pieces through tension rather than mass. The object is not constructed in a conventional sense: it is outlined, suspended, and held in the air, allowing the void to become an active material. Light and permeable, the piece exists on the threshold between the visible and the invisible.
Balanced between the oneiric and the real, these pieces resists a fixed reading. It suggests function without imposing it, inviting the body, the gaze, and the imagination to complete it. Traces of the net’s previous life remain embedded in the material, carrying a latent history that is now translated into a new spatial narrative.
