Juntos Projects is a New York–based design studio founded by María Daniela Huiza and Abraham Bendheim, exploring the intersection of form, color and material through furniture and objects.
Named after the Spanish word for “together,” Juntos is rooted in collaboration. Drawing on influences from Huiza’s native Caracas and Bendheim’s New Hampshire upbringing, the studio brings distinct references into a shared design language.
Each piece begins with a hand-drawn sketch and is developed in close dialogue with skilled craftspeople across the Northeastern United States. Natural materials and traditional techniques are approached with a contemporary sensibility, allowing the character of the material and the hand of the maker to remain visible in the finished work.
Juntos’ practice celebrates craftsmanship not as a fixed tradition, but as a living process—one that connects past and present while leaving room for experimentation, play and the unexpected.
In 2024, Juntos Projects received the ICFF Editors’ Award for Best Emerging Designer. The studio’s work has been featured in ELLE Decoration, Dezeen, Sight Unseen, Interior Design Magazine and other international design publications..
